Job description *Executive/Senior Management/Department: Fabrication Hội đồng quản trị /Quản lý cấp cao/Phòng ban *Location/Nơi làm việc: Vietnam *Reports to/Báo cáo cho: Commercial Manager *Key Relationships Các mối quan hệ chính trong công việc: Internal/Nội bộ: Project Managers, Line Managers, Purchasers, Estimators External/Bên ngoài: Clients, External Design Organizations and sub-contractors *** Position Purpose/Mục đích chức danh công việc Provide technical and design direction at Strategic Marine Vietnam. *** Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities/Trách nhiệm và nhiệm vụ chính Task Management/Quản lý nhiệm vụ/công việc: • Ensure OHS&E policies & guidelines are carried out • Follow approved company processes as defined in Strategic Marine’s Business Management System • Continually seek to identify & minimize areas of risk and/or waste • Provide technical and design direction to the Design Team • Manage technical and design resources within budget and project schedules • Keep Project Manager/s well informed of status of design work and serve as liaison between design staff and project manager • Create and execute plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements • Ensure design team adhere to project specifications, and to document control rules • Responsible for managing technical & design risk throughout project • Communicate and enforce coding standards • Apply significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to deliver best in class projects • Identify system and design deficiencies and implement effective solutions • Drive the research and development leading to new products People Management/Quản lý con người: • Develop and maintain a positive team environment • Review work of Design Team • Conduct regular & timely performance reviews for all direct employees • Conduct regular meetings with design team • Keep design team well informed of changes within organisation and general company news • Create a learning environment for more junior team members Interpersonal Management/Quản lý sự kết nối: • Liaise with clients and client representatives • Direct and liaise with external designers • Manage any subcontractors • Communicate regularly with Project Manager/s Information Management/Quản lý thông tin: • Regular reporting (both verbal & written) to Senior Management and where necessary deliver project presentations to client • Understand contractual & technical requirements of project • Manage and sign off on Project Documentation • Cross-functional thinking, generate workable solutions Personal Management/Quản lý bản thân: • Look for opportunities to increase skills/experience in Leadership & Project Management • Quality consciousness • Act with integrity • Able to manage stress in self & others Performance Standards/Tiêu chuẩn đánh giá mức độ hoàn thành công việc • Reducing injury frequency rate, compliance with SM (V) OHSE Standards. • Achieve a SAFE working environment with Zero Harm to people & environment. • Quality of work. • KPI’s determined, measured and communicated to all staff • Cost control measures implemented and cost reduction achieved. • Can be counted on to exceed goals successfully, is constantly and consistently one of the top performers, very bottom line oriented, steadfastly pushes self and others for results. • Very objective in determining work performance.
