We are looking for Offshore Structural Engineer for our In-house role to be based in UAE.

[h=1]Primary Objective[/h]
[h=1]As Offshore Structural Engineer , you will perform specific design tasks relating to offshore structural engineering analysis and design of topsides and associated substructures[/h]
[h=1]Specific Accountabilities[/h]
· Carrying out Structural analysis and design activities for work scope as per standards and specifications.


· Preparation of weight control report


· Preparation of various structural analysis reports


· Carrying out structural detailing and Checking of Structural drawings


· Coordinating with drafting team and other disciplines


· Ensure quality and accuracy in design and analysis activities carried out.


· Timely completion of activities and keeping schedule.


· Quality Assurance – Follow provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Project.


· Safety – Understand and follow OH&S procedures




Essential skills/experience


· Applicants require experience in working in a structural engineering team within a large multi discipline project team.


· The role mandates previous experience in minimum facility platform design and including the substructure, topsides and bridges.


· An understanding of structural analysis in the areas of dynamic loading and resistance, collapse analysis, spectral fatigue analysis, fire and explosion design, reliability based analysis, dropped object etc. is a prerequisite.


· Minimum 2-4 of years of experience in design of offshore facilities.


· Proven ability to work with a minimal supervision


· Ability and willingness to meet agreed deadlines


· Possess excellent interpersonal skills and a willingness and ability to work as part of team.


[h=1]Matching Indicators[/h]
· A Bachelor of Engineering (Civil/Structural) as minimum. Having Master degree will be an added advantage.


· 2 - 4 years experience, 2 of which shall be in conceptual studies, FEED and detailed design of substructure, deck and bridges.


· Minimum of 2 years Oil and Gas Industry experience.
