JOB INFORMATION

Job title Mechanic Engineer (Static Equipment)
Career level Experienced
Job summary Perform engineering design on current projects for onshore and offshore locations, fulfill department needs and support engineering operations within the company.

 Fixed equipment design, evaluation and troubleshooting (heat exchangers, steam condensers, pressure vessels, storage tanks, ect.)
 Material selection.
 Perform technical tasks assigned by Technical Manager on onshore or offshore feasibility, conceptual, basic engineering, FEED, detailed design and EPC/EPCM projects.
 Ensure the technical quality and accuracy of the work produced and the assigned tasks are completed on time.
 Interface with other departments, clients, vendors, subcontractors and third parties as per Technical Manager’s instructions.
 Participate in inter-disciplines, projects, clients and vendor meetings when requested by Technical Manager.
 Assist the Technical Manager in the verification of technical documents relevant to the responsible units.
 Coordinate with discipline Coordinators and Engineers/Supervisors on all matters related project and bringing any problem to the attention of Project Manager.
 Assist the Technical Manager to answer relevant site technical queries.
 Shall be responsible for the coordination with Design, Material Control, Procurement and QA/QC on matters pertaining to the project.
 Prepare job specification for piping fabrication, inspection and testing (where Client specification are nor available).

Function Engineering

PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Person specification  The candidate shall possess a RECOGNISED Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
 Having at least five years of DESIGN experience in various static equipment for onshore/offshore application i.e. pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks, steam condensers, etc.). The experience shall preferably be gained from time spent time in EPC Contracting work.
 Knowledge of PDMS modeling and Model Reviewing.
 Conversant with International Codes and Standards and Engineering Practices used in the industry – ANSI/ AMSE codes, and other API/Industry specifications.
 Good working knowledge of AutoCAD design procedures.
 Good English communication skills.
