    Position: Technical Manager

    Location: Vung Tau, Vietnam

    About This Job: Baker Hughes Incorporated (BHI) offers the opportunity as a Technical Manager experienced for our Upstream Chemicals Department located in Vietnam.

    Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

    • Provides technical support and consultancy to BHI local team and client.
    • Provides a comprehensive training program in order to meet local technical competency within 2 years.
    • Works closely with local team during tender preparations, mainly focusing on technical requirements.
    • Helps in sales of products and services to existing and new customers.
    • Builds strong customer relationships.
    • Trains customers and sales personnel.
    • Handles special projects, as assigned.
    • Works at offshore locations as and when required.
    • Constantly be in contact with Product Line Technical support in UK and US.
    Required Qualifications / Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
    • 5+ years of experience in Up-steam chemical or related.
    • Comprehensive, specialized technical knowledge of company's products and services for area of responsibility. Main area of technical requirement will be in:
      • Production Optimization (Oil/Water Separation) and
      • Flow Assurance (Pour Point Depressants).
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external customers.
    • Fundamental knowledge of commercial and contract language
