Responsibilities

• Produce detailed design and analysis of conversions, upgrades, fixed and floating structures
• Prepare and review analysis report
• Submission and clarification with Classification societies
• Structural design of Jack-up and semi-submersibles
• Project management of design projects
• Assist to prepare proposals for bids and tenders
• Regular communication with clients during the phase of project
• Provide mentoring and coaching to team members
• Ensure compliance with current legislation, industry standards and company procedures
• Review, comment and verify contractor's engineering, focusing on the steel structure, and
• foundations for equipment.
• Prepare and present technical dossiers, technical specifications and scope of work
• Review and comment on specifications, requisitions, designs, procedures, layout arrangements and all documentation issued by the installation contractors or fellow colleagues

Requirements

• Degree/Master/PhD in Structural Engineering or similar
• 8-12 Years shipyard or offshore design working experience in Structural Engineering
• Jack-up, FPSO or FSO experience
• Experience of FEA packages is a must: such as ANSYS, STAADPRO or SACS
• Knowledge of materials used within the discipline
• Good interpersonal skill
• Knowledge on topside skid base construction is an advantage.
• Excellent AUTOCAD and PC skills, especially with Excel and Word.
• Strong analytical & problem solving skills with attention to details
• Excellent communication skills
