Our client, a major player in the oil and gas industry, is currently looking for a structural engineer with extensive offshore oil and gas experience. The successful candidate must be able to review offshore platforms, topside and FPSO structures designs.
Candidates must be proficient with Sesam genie.
The right candidate will be responsible for:
+Monitoring progress against schedule
+Be proactive in resolving obstacles to progress
+Liaise with other disciplines to smooth information flow
+Identify key data necessary to complete engineering deliverables and
Attributes:
+Sound knowledge of topsides structural design
+Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
+Excellent communication skills
+Adept at problem resolution
+Very good organisational and planning skills
+Able to be innovative and pro-active with the project group.
+Familiarity with latest design developments, statutory regulations, code of practice and offshore industry standards.
+The appropriate candidate should be ethical, open-minded and diplomatic and be able and willing to express his opinions and defend his professional judgement.
