Key accountabilities will include: Undertake various marine surveys including condition, pre-purchase, suitability and consumables on/off hire. Perform insurance damage and marine warranty survey (MWS) project works as required: typically including hull & machinery, P&I and cargo. DP consultancy. Preparation of quotes, verifications and consultancy support [h=2]Person Specification[/h] To be successful in this role, and our business, you will need to demonstrate the following qualification, professional expertise and personal attributes: [h=3]Technical / Professional Expertise[/h] Chief Engineer Class 1 foreign going with seagoing hands-on experience ideally as Chief Engineer. Proven track record in offshore engineering within marine sector. Previous experience with load outs, transportation and towage approvals. DP consultancy experience is highly advantageous [h=3]Competency Requirements[/h] Strong interpersonal and client facing skills. Proficient in Microsoft applications (word and Excel). Excellent English communications and report writing skills. Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team. Technically and commercially astute.
