Engineering Project Manager ( Oil & Gas)

A. JOB PURPOSE:
The Engineering Manager will be responsible for the following project activities.
· Accountable for all project engineering activities, in particular, development of facilities design in accordance with project requirements, standards, and regulations.
· Lead and manage engineering team to ensure project technical integrity
· Accountable for ensuring processes and systems are in place for the identification and management of engineering risk
· Responsible for all engineering activities relating to Detail Design, and control the design aspects during Fabrication, Procurement, Construction, Installation and Commissioning activities to ensure that those activities are performed in accordance with design.

B. RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Engineering Authority for the project
· Select Technical Authorities and Lead/Discipline Engineers for the Project Engineering team
· Responsible for the design compliance with the project requirements.
· Responsible for design safety of all facilities.
· Responsible for leading and supervising all engineers in their daily duties.
· Support the Project Manager on overall project targets.
· Support delivery teams to ensure project technical integrity.
· Provide necessary advice, support and services to Project Management and Project Team regarding project status.
· Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
· Manage and control changes and variations in design.
· Prepare project specifications and procedures.
· Assign task to employees, supervise and evaluate their performances.
· Write and review reports.
· Participate in interface coordination with Commissioning, Transportation & Installation, QA/QC, Project Controls and Planning.

E. REQUIRE:

· University or college degree in relevant technical.
· Minimum 20 years experience in Oil & Gas, especially Offshore Pipeline.
· Involved in at least 03 similar Offshore Gas Pipeline projects.
· Proven experience and working knowledge of all areas including a leadership role.
· Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
· Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment with work in Asia and/or Vietnam an advantage.
· Ready to adopt a flexible work approach, self motivated and able to work without supervision.
· Commitment to action through analysis and evaluation.
· A leader and team player.
