Our client is a Global Leader in manufacturing and selling the oil products such as bitumen. For their new construction of terminal in the South of Vietnam, they are looking for a Project Manager. Work location: South of Viet Nam

Salary: $5,000 (Local only)

Job Description:

1 PROJECTS IMPLEMENTATION:

• Accountable for the successful completion of the Construction activities of the project

2 MANAGEMENT AND SUPERVISION:

• Coordinate construction execution activities to ensure that the project is executed on time
• Through project coordination meetings and other means, monitors progress against project schedule; recommends allocation of resources as required in accomplishing goals.
• Represents company in construction review meetings.
• Coordinate and direct the project, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
• Determine and assess the need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary during project cycle
• Develop best practices and tools for project execution and construction activities
• Supervise the construction activities and ensure compliance with the project specifications and drawings. Ensure that proper Quality Control is in place
• Oversees construction and commissioning in order to ensure completion of project efficiently

3 SAFETY, QUALITY CONTROL AND REPORTING

• Ensure compliance of codes, standards, regulation and practices applicable to the design and construction
• Develop and deliver progress reports
• Good knowledge of International Codes and Standards applicable to Petroleum Industry as well as applicable regulation and construction standards in Vietnam
• Develop QA/QC procedures to ensure the quality control during the construction activities

Job Requirement:

• At least 3 years' experience at the position of Bitumen Construction Project Manager
• 8 years' experience in petroleum terminal construction project or tank & pipeline constructions for industrial zones
• In-depth knowledge of both tank farm and piping system construction (a must)
• Solid experienced in managing and supervising tank & piping construction project, contractor, EPC contract as well as cost estimation and management
• Excellent communication and written English
• Experienced in using Auto CadExperienced in preparing report/documents in English
• Mechanical Engineer is preferred
• Construction Management Skills
• Successful track record in achieving tasks and managing people
• Strong team player, organized and deadline-efficient
